So I was watching Grave of the Fireflies on TV the other night. Dragonball was on right after that and I still had the wave of "OMG poor children all alone" washing over me...and this is what my mind put together, idunno.
Because I got to thinking, no one in their right mind would want to live alone (sort of) in the middle of the friggin' desert and take up a job that relied completely on OTHER people like bandit-ing to actually bring in profit unless it was a show like Dragonball OR I made it completely emo and cliche like I just did. Pretty sure I like whatever obscure reason the show gives better though, even if I don't remember what it is.
Why does the thought of little-kid Yamcha tickle my insides so much?

Hey, I know this is an old drawing, and it's very likely you won't see this. But, I feel that this is a very nice piece, actually...it gives me an idea of what to write for my first DB oriented fanfic. I'm actually a little bit surprised we never learned more about how Yamcha became a desert bandit even back in the original DB.
